123Movies respects the intellectual property rights of others and responds to properly submitted copyright notices. This page explains what this site publishes, how to send a notice, and what we do when one arrives.
123Movies is a browsing guide. The pages here consist of catalogue metadata — titles, release dates, synopses, cast lists, ratings, artwork and official video links — retrieved from The Movie Database (TMDB) through its public API. This site does not store any files on its server. All contents are provided by non-affiliated third parties.
Because the catalogue is generated from TMDB, a factual correction is usually best made at the source: edits accepted by TMDB propagate here automatically when our cache refreshes.
If you own a copyright, or are authorised to act for the owner, and you believe material reachable from this site infringes that copyright, send a written notice to that includes all of the following:
Incomplete notices slow things down. A notice missing the specific URLs in particular cannot be acted on, because we cannot identify what to remove.
Valid notices are actioned promptly — normally within a few business days. We will remove or disable access to the identified material and confirm by email once that is done. Repeat infringement is grounds for permanently blocking the source of the material.
If material of yours was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address. Include your signature, identification of the removed material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the removal was an error, and your contact details together with your consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court.
